Customer Experience Specialist

The Hydropothecary is a licensed producer of medical marijuana, which is sold legally and directly to patients with a prescription from their doctor through our company website. Founded in 2013, Hydropothecary aims to provide Canadians with quality products and an exceptional customer service experience.

We are currently seeking a Customer Experience Specialist to join our team of professionals dedicated to providing 24/7 concierge service for our clients. Your focus will be on assisting with customer acquisitions, relations and care. This includes but is not limited to:

  • As part of a team, managing 24/7 toll free line, answer questions from customers, general public and third parties such as members of law enforcement, doctors, nurse practitioners, caregivers, etc. both orally and in writing.
  • Ensuring compliance with the Access to Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations at all times and reporting any notice of non-compliance to management immediately.
  • Supporting the team of Registration Specialists and participating in the registration process as needed.

This is a full-time position, which offers a great work environment and excellent benefits.

The ideal candidate is bilingual and demonstrates exceptional communication skills. Experience in customer service, including phone based work, is an important asset. Candidates should have demonstrated ability to manage stress, to follow strict protocols and to handle confidential information.

Cleaning Specialist

The Hydropothecary is a licensed producer of medical marijuana, which is sold legally and directly to patients with a prescription from their doctor through our company website. Founded in 2013, Hydropothecary aims to provide Canadians with quality products and an exceptional customer service experience.

We are currently seeking a Cleaning Specialist who will report to the Facilities and Security Manager. The Cleaning Specialist will work closely with other Facilities staff to ensure that office spaces, shared spaces and production areas are cleaned in accordance with Standards Operating Procedures and Health Canada requirements. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Clean various workspaces in accordance with the pre-established schedule.
  • Ensure cleaning of offices spaces: sweep and mop floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting and upholstered furniture.
  • Clean and disinfect public areas such as lunchrooms and washrooms.
  • Empty Trash containers and recycling bins.
  • Periodically wash windows and walls.
  • Clean walkways, hallways, walls and/or counters in the Production area in accordance with SOP and ACMPR requirements. This includes greenhouses, laboratories and other secured areas.
  • Requirements:

  • Experience in industrial and/or commercial cleaning is an asset.
  • Bilingualism is an asset.
  • Demonstrated work ethic, attention to detail and ability to follow strict SOP is required.

Facilities Specialist

The Hydropothecary is a licensed producer of medical marijuana, which is sold legally and directly to patients with a prescription from their doctor through our company website. Founded in 2013, Hydropothecary aims to provide Canadians with quality products and an exceptional customer service experience.

We are currently seeking a Facilities Specialist who will report to the Facilities and Security Manager. The Facilities Specialist will work closely with other Facilities staff to ensure the overall upkeep of our installations, maintain production equipment and ensure a safe work environment. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Respond to various requests to repair or replace fixtures and/or equipment. This includes requests such as installing or moving furniture and equipment, drywall repair and painting, minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing and electrical systems;
  • Participate in the development of a maintenance schedule and ensure preventative maintenance of equipment such as HVAC systems, production machinery and building components.
  • Liaise with licensed service providers as required for specific maintenance or installation projects.
  • Conduct workplace inspections to ensure all equipment and workspaces are safe and up to Code, identify and eliminate (whenever possible) Occupational Health and Safety risks.
  • This is a full-time, permanent position which offers excellent benefits.

    The ideal candidate holds a professional diploma or technical degree pertaining to HVAC systems, mechanical maintenance or other related field, combined with a few years’ relevant experience. Basic skills in carpentry, electricity and plumbing are major assets. Forklift certification is also an asset. Candidates must demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities. Bilingualism is an asset.

Security Specialist

The Hydropothecary is a licensed producer of medical marijuana, which is sold legally and directly to patients with a prescription from their doctor through our company website. Founded in 2013, Hydropothecary aims to provide Canadians with quality products and an exceptional customer service experience.

We are currently seeking a Security Specialist who will report to the Facilities and Security Manager and assist in the development and implementation of security procedures and be responsible for the on-going maintenance of security systems in accordance with the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulation and Health Canada guidelines.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Assisting the Facilities & Security Manager in the development and implementation of security procedures to ensure ACMPR and Health Canada Guideline conformity.
  • Conducting periodic systems testing and inspections in collaboration with Facilities team.
  • Inspecting, maintaining and troubleshooting security systems, including cameras and digital locks.
  • Liaising with external suppliers for system maintenance, upgrades and/or installations.
  • Investigating, responding to and reporting on all security breaches and alarms.

This is a full-time, permanent position which offers excellent benefits.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Information technology or a security-related field, combined with a minimum of 1 years’

relevant experience. Strong attention to detail and record-keeping abilities are essential, as is the ability to remain calm under pressure. Strong computer skills, including security-related software and equipment, are also essential. Bilingualism is an important asset.

IT Business Analyst

We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate Services team in the role of IT Business Analyst. This full-time position is located at our Gatineau, Quebec facility.

Overview of the role:

Reporting to the Manager of Planning and Analysis, the IT Business Analyst will be the vital link between our information technology capacity and our business objectives. As such, you will be responsible for successfully validating the requirements of our multiple business functions, as well as the testing and deployment of our software products.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Defining functional needs, configuration specifications and business analysis requirements
  • Performing quality assurance on developed software
  • Owning and developing relationship with partners, working with them to optimize and enhance integration
  • Designing, documenting and maintaining system development and change management processes
  • Reporting on common sources of technical issues and/or questions, and making recommendations for improvement
  • Constantly being on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, proactively identify issues and deliver better value to the customer

Qualifications, Skills and Experience required:

The successful candidate holds a degree in Information Technology or Computer Science and has a software development background. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in business analysis and testing is required and must include:

  • Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing
  • Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions
  • Knowledge in generating process documentation
  • Basic understanding of Ruby and SQL queries an asset.

Candidates must be bilingual and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills (including technical writing skills). Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels within the organization are required. He/She must be highly motivated with strong attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment undergoing rapid growth.

Project Manager

The Hydropothecary Corporation is a licensed producer of medical marijuana, which is sold legally and directly to patients with a prescription from their doctor through our company website. Founded in 2013, Hydropothecary aims to provide Canadians with quality products and an exceptional customer service experience.

We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our Product Management Team. The position is based at our facility located in Gatineau, Quebec. This is a permanent, full-time position which offers excellent benefits.

Reporting to the Product Manager (who will oversee the Product Management Team), the Project Manager ensures every project is delivered on time, within budget and scope. Projects will include the quarterly launch of new products, collaborative activities and other product management initiatives.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing projects for New Product Introduction (NPI) and new Product Management initiatives from beginning to end.
  • Building detailed project plans and reports to track progress and keep relevant stakeholders up to date on project execution.
  • Coordinating internal resources and dependencies from vendors.
  • Working closely with internal teams such as Sales and Marketing, Operations, QA and Cultivation to define/fine tune product development/management processes.
  • Ensuring products and projects are compliant with the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulation.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate holds a PMP designation, combined with a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Project Manager. Experience in project management within the pharmaceutical sector or another FMCG setting is an important asset. Bilingualism is preferred.

Candidates should also have advanced knowledge of G-Suite, MS Office Suite (including MS Project) and other project management software. The ability to work in a fast-aced environment undergoing rapid growth is also essential.
